All card collectors should know of Bazooka Joe. Since the 1950s, the character and his gang have been in comics, now in the 1000s, inserted into every single piece of Bazooka Gum from TOPPS. The Wikipedia article about this TOPPS mascot (with very informative links on the character) is:

I remember these when I was younger. I bought the Bazooka Joe baseball cards in the mid 90s and the Bazooka Joe basketball cards in the mid 2000s that Topps produced. Very cool cards. I really liked the comic book inserts they included.
