is the name of the ride.... here is the onfo on the even
National MS Society: Bike MS Texas
its the largest charity bike ride in the world... last year 14,000 people rode and raised over $16MILLION !

lol funny that you are AUS, becasue last year I rode the majority of the ride with 2 guys from New Zealand and a guy from Sydney... good times
yes, they came all the way to Texas for the event
but to answer yor question,
BP is the main sponsor (their contract is up this year, so a NEW sponsor will take over next year)
MS is for MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS
and
150... was the original initial donation needed to ride the event... NOT the distance from Houston to Austin
now the initial donation to ride is $400, and STILL they may raise it to limit the amount of riders...
14,000 bikes on the higway is a MESS lol

Thanks for the info mate happy to be helping with a great cause. I hope I get outbid even though I wanna win the card lol.. On the chase for the 2010/11 Certified cards maybe this can be my next chase!
