As if it weren’t bad enough to think of the possibility ofno football this year, we had to deal with the same for basketball. In the end, it worked out as the NBAreturned as a great Christmas present. But we are still waiting on Basketball cards for 2011-12. That wait is coming to an end too. One of the many highly anticipatedreleases is an updated blast from the past, 2011-12 Panini NBA Hoops.


Set for a release date of March 14, Hobby boxes of theseretro cards with contemporary updates will contain two autographs per box featuringautographs of Kobe Bryant, Blake Griffin, Kevin Durant, Chris Paul and DirkNowitzki, and will include original 1989-90 Hoops BuyBacks featuring on-cardautographs. The base set for Hoopswill come in at 279-cards.

Its the return of a decent lower end product. The only design of Hoops that I ever liked was the 92-93 and 99-00 Hoops Decade design.

I think I read it was only $1 per pack and 36 packs per box. So boxes will range from $32 to $40.
