Default Kings Sign Marcus Thornton & Chuck Hayes

They just had a lockout for this reason and already owners are throwing a ton of money to players that are not worth. They never learn. LOL!

Quote:
The Sacramento Kings will sign free-agent forward Chuck Hayes to a four-year, $21.3 million contract mirroring the full midlevel exception.

A Modesto, Calif., native, Hayes is in Sacramento and is expected to sign the deal Friday. Hayes averaged 7.9 points and 8.1 rebounds for the Houston Rockets last season. The Minnesota Timberwolves also tried to make a strong push to land Hayes, who has a good relationship with coach Rick Adelman.

The Kings are stupid. Is Isaiah Thomas running the team?

The Chuck Hayes signing was stupid. At least in his defense, Marcus Thornton did avg 20 ppg for them last season.

Kings void Hayes' contract after failed physical - NBA - Yahoo! Sports

Quote:
The Sacramento Kings voided Chuck Hayes’ $21.3 million, four-year contract Monday, saying the forward-center failed a team physical that forced his release. The team announced last week that a heart exam on the new Kings big man showed an abnormality that would require further testing.

Kings agree to new deal with Hayes - NBA - Yahoo! Sports

Has this ever happened before in the NBA? You sign a player, void the contract, then sign him again. LOL!

Quote:
The Sacramento Kings have agreed to a contract with forward Chuck Hayes just days after voiding a deal because of a failed physical. Kings president of basketball operations Geoff Petrie announced the multiyear agreement Thursday night. Terms were not immediately available.

So they voided it because they knew it was a bad deal?

Hayes failed his physical due to heart conditions.

No you don't get it lol

If he failed his physical a few days ago why would they resign him knowing he'd fail again?

Chuck Hayes signing with Kings again - Scoop Du Jour - NBA*Blog - Yahoo! Sports

I guessed he passed it this time. Funny thing is the Kings gave him more money than his original voided contract. Now it is a 4 year $22.4 million contract. LOL!
