Default My Fourth & Final Yahoo Fantasy Basketball Team - The Best One

After my mistake earlier this week on my 3rd team (as well as my 1st team), my fourth and final team is probably the best. I had the #12 pick in the first round.

The only one I missed out on that I wanted to draft was Zach Randolph in the 4th round. He went one pick before me. So I drafted Kevin Garnett kind of early, but I didnt want to take Chris Bosh, Marcin Gortat, or Greg Monroe in the 4th round. Kendrick Perkins is on waivers too if I decide I need an extra big guy. I took Paul George for his potential in the 12 round, but I can always trade him. I think this is the best of my 4 teams.

Here is my team.

Starters
Jason Kidd
Kobe Bryant
Jason Richardson
Paul Pierce
Kevin Garnett
Al Jefferson
Tyson Chandler
Marcus Camby
Jason Terry
Jameer Nelson

Bench
Jamal Crawford
Vince Carter
Paul George

Getting Kobe at #12 seems like a steal...even though he's getting old, there still aren't 11 better basketball players in the NBA over him.

Wow, you have:

Jason Kidd
Kobe Bryant
Paul Pierce
Kevin Garnett

If this was 5 years ago you would be unstoppable!

But I think you got a pretty good draft overall. . .Al Jefferson should be pretty good

He's still a 25-5-5 a night guy with solid FG%/FT%. I'll take that all day out of my 1st round pick.

Actually Al Jefferson was my first round pick at #12. Kobe was my second round pick at #13. LOL!

Overall for all the stats for this league, my team is pretty solid and in the top 3 in basically every single category. At the end of the season, out of my 4 teams this should be my best league.

I'd think is his age/health he won't put up those numbers this season. Just my .02, but I know Kerwin has been taking Kobe any chance he has.

At the #13 pick, the only other person I would have considered drafting was Deron Williams, but I was already planning on taking Jason Kidd in the later rounds. I also took into account that I didnt pick again until pick #36.

Curry, Dwight, Pau, Dirk, and Melo were already taking. Since I took Al Jefferson in the first round, they wouldnt be a reason to draft Amare. I didnt want to draft Westbrook, Ellis, Blake, or Horford that high.

Someone waived Brook Lopez and I was #1 on the waiver wire priority. I couldnt pass that up, so I cut Vince Carter to get Brook Lopez.

I was #12 on the waiver wire priority since I took Brook Lopez last week. Well I just picked up Zach Randolph off waivers and got rid of Marcus Camby. Even though Z-Bo is out for 8 weeks, I will still have him back for 2 months. Manu Ginobili is also on waivers and I will try to get him on Monday.

Well someone else claimed Manu Ginobili the other day. But I was able to get Michael Beasley off waivers and dumped Jameer Nelson. Ben Gordon comes off waivers tomorrow.

Got Ben Gordon off waivers and dropped Jamal Crawford. Figures that Crawford had his best game of the season last night. But statistically, Gordon is a starter and by season's end should have better numbers overall.

Might as well drop Gordon, he stinks.

Just wait. He will be fine. A few bad games - mainly his last 5. LOL! He is their only scoring option.

Someone offered me a trade of Stephen Jackson for Brook Lopez. Since I got Lopez off waivers and currently have 4 injured players, including one open utility spot, I accepted the trade since I need a healthy player to start. Even though he is playing horrible now, Captain Jack should be fine in the end.

I should have never waived Jamal Crawford for Ben Gordon. Figures Crawford would heat up after I dump him and Gordon gets injured. LOL! I got Channing Frye off waivers and tossed Gordon. Even though Frye is struggling badly right now, I had him last year and the same thing happened. After 2 months, he was back to putting up good numbers.

I like Gordon, but he's always nicked up.
