Why? I just enjoyed watching him play hard and giving his all every game.

I am assuming that the pictures of th auto and game used are suppose to be ones you own? (Just had to ask )
There is no need to have you own the cards. I just want people to have do some work to get points in a contest. So, I just wanted everyone to have to go out and find something cool of the player they like and post it here.

C'mon guys, let's get some bonus points!

Bonus Question :

What was the last professional sporting event you attended? What happened during the game? Who was playing? Who won? Tell me something about how you ended up there, why you went, highlights of the game, ya know tell us all a story.

Points will be given out from 1-5 points. 1 point if you don't give much for a description or you just answer the questions. I want some work done here to tell me about the game and make me feel like I was there.

OKay, I guess I should add, if you haven't been to a professional sporting, tell me about the last sporting event you went to, and follow the same information for that game. Even if it was a kids soccer game!

Here is a good example...

Okay, so the last sporting event I went to was in March I believe, and it was a Celtics vs Nets NBA game at the TD Bank Garden in Boston. The Celtics ended up winning, and I can't remember the score, but it was pretty close. So, here is how it all went down. My father in law (not a sports fanatic whatsoever) bought my mother in law tickets for the Celtics. I helped pick them out. They were good seats. They were about even with the 3 point line 20 rows back from teh Celtics bench. Pretty sweet tickets honestly. And come to find out, she wanted me to go with her. Which was even cooler. So, we get down there, and I hadn't been down to 'the Garden' for a while. The entrance is totally different there now. It is like a bustling mall. We get down there, haven't eaten dinner, so we get some yummy pizza before we can go in. Weird thing, they don't let you into the game until like 45 minutes before tip off, which is kind of strange. And then to top it off, we get caught up in line, and they are holding people off. So, it is like 20 minutes till tip off by the time we get to our seats. So, the game finally starts. The Cetlics, I believe went up really big early on, and then all of a sudden, back come the Nets. It was a good game. Lopez was really good at that game. But, in the end the Celtics pulled out with the win. I don't know if you have ever been to an NBA game, but these guys are absolutely HUGE! They are so much bigger in person than they look on TV. And they beat the bloody snot out of each other. I mean, they are pulling on each others jerseys and elbowing. That game is pretty nasty. Anyway, it got real chippy near the end, and one of the Nets guys got really po'd and I think got T'd up. It was a pretty cool game. Anyway, that is my story. Now, let's hear yours.

Gladdy, I think I know what yours is going to be about!

The last sporting event i went to was in September. It was the final Blue Jays home game of the season. The Jays won in extra innings, on a hit from Edwin Encarnacion. I went to the game cause i get a jays flex pack every year, and my buddy Nikos (Nick) came along aswell. A highlight of the game was on the last play Torii Hunter came in from right field to give extra help in the infield, then the ball was hit to him and he threw home but not in time, it also made the jays the first team since the 1910's to go atleast 10-0 at home in extra inning games (they went 11-0). That is the last sporting event i went to.

Bonus Question :

Well the last sporting event I went to was my sons 1st 5v5 soccer tourny (he is 10) last weekend. His team played a total of 8 games (they won 5, tied 2, lost 1) to make the finals. They went into the final tied for 1st place. The final game ended in a 1-1 tie, which forced a shootout. The 1st shootout tied 3-3 and my sons team won the 2nd shootout 1-0. Well this has to be my favorite sporting event just because of my being the proud dad and my son winning his 1st trophy. All in all we were at the toury for 12 hrs. I was a very proud dad to say the least. It was a blast to see the kids faces light up when they won this trophy, the team they beat had only 1 loss all season.

Woody, i know you already gave me bonus points for this questoin before this game i went to but i wanna write about it anyway.
Yesterday (11/6/11) I went to the New York Jets vs Buffalo Bills Football game. I went to the game with my Dad, Uncles, and a whole bunch of other people. I was chearing for the Jets, cause i'm a pats fan and if Buffalo won they would be in the sole divison league. I almost won $125-enough for my first Hobby Box. But then the Bills scored with 3:30 left and i didn't win money. On a side note, my dumb Uncle Jim and Jerry were kicked out for smoking, which is dumb cause all sporting area's are smoke free envoirments, and about 150 fans were ejected due to fist fights, that is my new last sporting event i went to.

Thanks for sharing bud. I was actually rooting for the Bills. I have a good friend that is a Bills fan, and have always had a soft place in my heart for that team after the Super Bowls they lost. But, really, I can never find it in myself to ever root for the Jets. They are a 'true' New York team, and they are like my Yankees of the NFL! Although, the Giants are a close second now! Cool story, except for the smoking. What were they thinking?
