MLB Free Agent Contest - Closed For Entries
Got this idea from an MLB.com game that they're running.
I'm gonna list 15 of the top baseball free agents for this off season. You guess which team each player will end up signing with. Once all 15 players have signed, whomever guessed the most destinations correctly will win the prize (listed below).
All members are eligible, one entry per member, no editing posts.
Once the first player from the list signs with a team then no more entries will be allowed so get your choices in ASAP.
Here is the list of free agents for this contest:
1 - Albert Pujols (Los Angeles Angels)
2 - Prince Fielder (Detroit Tigers)
3 - Jose Reyes (Miami Marlins)
4 - CJ Wilson (Los Angeles Angels)
5 - Francisco Rodriguez (Milwaukee Brewers)
6 - Jonathan Papelbon (Philadelphia Phillies)
7 - Carlos Beltran (St. Louis Cardinals)
8 - David Ortiz (Boston Red Sox)
9 - Aramis Ramirez (Milwaukee Brewers)
10 - Mark Buehrle (Miami Marlins)
11 - Heath Bell (Miami Marlins)
12 - Jimmy Rollins (Philadelphia Phillies)
13 - Josh Willingham (Minnesota Twins)
14 - Carlos Pena (Tampa Bay Rays)
15 - Rafael Furcal (St. Louis Cardinals)
*Tie Breaker - How many total guaranteed years will the top 3 free agent hitters get combined? (Pujols, Fielder, Reyes)
**Guaranteed years only, meaning that option years do not count on the tie breaker guess.
Example: If a guy gets 6 years with an option for a 7th year, I will only count 6 years as part of the total.
