Here is a unique and neat piece that was created in 1978. I acquired this from a neighbor's foreclosed house in 2010.
It is a "poetic tribute" done by a man from Columbia, SC honoring the 1978 New York Yankee baseball Championship team.
The item is put together on rectangle pieces of writing paper.
There's a front page biography of the author Louis Krapin written by himself, followed by a Yankee team tribute page, then (25) total Yankee player tributes, and lastly a brief one line statement on a page by the author. Each poem at the end has the author's signature and date of writing.
Two staples hold the pages together on the side. The front page is aqua blue while the remaining pages are white.
The overall condition is fair to very good. There is minor general wear while the front and back pages have what look to be a few places of food staining and no page has rips or tears.
Below is a "Table of Contents" of each page. Each page except for the cover is numbered in the top left corner. It's interesting to note that one page of Jim "Catfish" Hunter was mistakenly not included (also not numbered) with the others and comes alone by itself.
Check out the scanned photos below for more details. Some page numbers don't show up in the scans as they were back behind where the stapling is.
I am offering an asking price of $49.99 delivered with the United States, Canada, and other International locations.
Indeed this is a "One of a Kind" collectible that captures great creativity and honor.
If interested I'd look at trades also which include general wrestling cards.
