Press Pass checklist question

I was looking at the official checklist to get an idea of how many different auto's are available. So if a person was to try accumulate all of say Ha Ha Clinton Dix, there would be 12 different variations? Is that correct? Seems a little excessive for one product.

Sequential #ing scheme:
Press Pass Signings Base autos (metallic graphic)
Silver un #’d (uniform #) 27
Gold 199 or less (X’s & O’s)
99 or less (hashmarks)
Blue 50 or less--hobby-only (football)
Red 10 or less--Target exclusive (player image)
Emerald 10 or less--Wal-Mart exclusive (player image)

Holofoil insert autos:
Gold 99 or less
Blue 50 or less
Red 25 or less
Green 10 or less
Holo #'d to 1

Was comparing the list to Ebay and whats even more confusing is that the color of the ink doesn't matter. Is that correct? I noticed a Red Ink (football image) that is #/50 but there are also Blue Ink ones as well. That means the (image) takes precedence. Correct?

The red ink variations DO matter!

In the list above, you see the Press Pass Autographs Blue. There were 50 of those cards printed. He signed 43 in blue (or standard color) ink & 7 in red. The red ink versions will usually carry a bit higher price tag.

The same holds true in the Bronze & Silver versions. He signed 10 Bronze (out of 99) & 40 Silver (listed as SN, but numbering isn't provided) with red.
