  • Christmas everyday, thank you Mr. 264

    To my fellow forum members,

I've always watched "Scrooge" every Christmas. Matter of fact, Mrs. Toshi said I am "Scrooge". LOL! Why do I watch this timeless treasure? Is it because he's a grouch? Is it because his bussiness partner dies? Or is it because three ghost, past, present, and future, come to make their spector known? Or finally is it due to his epiphamy?

As we are all individuals with our own likes and dislikes, it's natural that we pick different series in Mr. Ebeneezer Scrooges life. I tend to choose the final phase and or statement made at the end of the great Christmas classic. "And Scrooge kept Christmas in his heart everyday".

I am now placed in a home for brain injury disorder. At first, I hated it and I actually ran away twice. I finally was locked in my own room like a jailed convict. The rooms are actually very nice, more like a four star hotel room with a really humongous bathroom. I could actually just live in the bathroom since it has a huge width and girth within my confines. My football cards were brought to me so that I can busy myself once again. I did promise; "No more extra circular nocturnal escaping".

I actually took a scene from a Clint Eastwood movie called "Escape from Alcatraz" where I placed a fake looking Toshi under my bed covers. My plan was simple, raid the kitchen, steal a bunch of cash and finally escape through the laundry room door. I made too much noise hence my apprehension! So I signed a contract to not to do any more escaping with one stipulation! "Bring me all of my Mother F^*+ing football cards you bastards"!

I do know how long I must stay there. They tell me the better my memory gets, the better I stop falling, the better I eat, sleep, excersice, the quicker I become a in and out patient type scenario. I was told that if I can plan such an escape, I must be healthy enough to be released. LOL!

Going back to my thread in regards to my writing this, I received a wonderful gift from Mr. 264 Aka: Road Runner 1964. How great was this? It changed my outlook here. I decided to hold a football card collecting teaching session for my fellow inmates, LOL! To give freely something I cherish the most, my experiences, to give 365 days a year. I now enjoy my stay here as I treat this like a four star resort. I've also been informed that I Mr. Toshi will get to go home!!!! I will miss everyone here, in reality, I really won't. I've been informed that as an out patient, I will be taking sessions every Monday and Thursday from 9am to 4:00pm. My transformation was completed due to my passion in football cards, so while I pack my things up in a few days here in Stow/Kent, Ohio, I'll look back and remember that Christmas is 365 days a year.

This lesson I learned from all the members at this forum, especially from the generosity from Mr. 264!!!!! Thank you so much Mr. 264, you don't know how much you've impacted my life.

    Most Truly,

    Toshi

This is actually a 2013 Topps Chrome Complete Set! Mr. 264, this is so awesome!

There are much more cards here that I just don't have the room to photograph, but let me describe the rest of the lot as Favre dominant.

Thank you everybody and especially Mr. 264!

I couldn't leave this card out of this thread. I've never owned a 4x6 card in my life, anyway, here it is:

1997 Bowman's Best Super Bowl Edition Refractor Brett Favre #1

You have added not just a little sunshine but a super nova of a path that has enlightened my vision of life.

It is my pleasure to have dialogue with you. I find this exciting and educational as well. Most importantly it is the touch of two people that can appreciate this hobby together. Each week, I can't wait for a new addition of 264 items to be unveiled.

            Thank you Mr. 264!

                To Mr. Bill Bates,

I'm humbled by your statement! Since my work related injury, I have, at times some issues with my memory lost. I'll wake up wondering what I did yesterday, or if I sent cards and or received some as well. LOL. This is a challenge for me. My older brother says that not remembering specifics at times can be a good thing! Lol! I do recall what cards I sent you. It was a pleasure.

Your trade with me was so quick and flawless, I'd like to take this oppurtunity to let fellow forum members know that you are a prompt outstanding forum member. In my current state, I can only and proudly be of service to any forum member.

                Thank you, humbly yours,

                Toshi
