  • Organization programs???

    Hey CCW,

I was wondering if you guys know any computer programs that help organize card collections. I need to organize my Celtic cards. I want to organize them by player and set. I was wondering if there are any programs out there that would make this daunting task easier. I want to do this so I can find all the Celtic cards I am missing from sets, especially the easier ones to find like the base and inserts. I thought maybe there would be something out there that could recoginize the card if I typed it in by player and it could automatically file it under a set or vice versa. I was going to use Excel but in that I would need to do the typing twice.. Any info on the best programs out there or is Excel what people use that do this?? HOw do you guys go about it?

    thanks

I know you used to be able to import the player lists from BGS to Excel, but that was a couple years ago before the "new" website launched. Might be worth trying that route if it still works

Still collecting Frank Thomas in any uni and HoFer G/U & Auto's.

I do not trade nor buy at "eBay values", unless a card is so rare that it is unlisted.

when I had my card shop, I bought one from Beckett to keep my inventory on. They may still sell them.
