  • Anyone Remember Baseball Cards In A Can?

In the mid 1990s when I still collected baseball cards, I remember seeing this for the first time at Target. I believe it was either $2.99 or $3.99 at that time. It was from Pinnacle and was Baseball cards in a can. Basically the can was sealed and you had to open it like a can of soup. LOL! Inside is a sealed pack of cards. I thought at that time it was such a cool concept. I believe Pinnacle was the only card company to do this. They had 1997 Pinnacle and 1998 Pinnacle baseball cards. I think they also had 1997 WNBA cards too. I remember buying 2 of them at the time. I believe it was Ken Griffey Jr and Mike Piazza.

Oh yeah I remember those. They had hockey as well, but instead of players I think they had goalie masks on the packages. I remember opening a TON of those back in the day.
