Goalie Tuukka Rask has agreed to terms on a one-year, $3.5 million deal with the Boston Bruins, a team source told ESPN.com's Pierre LeBrun.
Rask still will be a restricted free agent next summer unless there's a rule change in the new collective bargaining agreement
The 25-year-old Rask started 22 games this past season for the Bruins, again serving as the backup to Tim Thomas. Rask went 11-8 with a 2.05 goals-against average and a .929 save percentage.
Rask long has been projected as a rising star.
