Here's what was included in the 2010 Topps T-206 Break:

    Base Cards:
The base cards have a throwback design to the early T-206 cards. A sketch type look to them that comes off very well.

We pulled 133/350 for the base set, we pulled two short prints and we pulled zero doubles!

    Inserts:

The historic events inserts focus on non Baseball history, but important dates in our history. We pulled 5 different historic events insert.

    Parallels
We pulled 3 blank back cards, they have the same design as the base card, the only difference is there is no card number on the back of the card.

The Bronze Parallels came at a rate of 1 per pack. These cards are thicker than the base cards and have a complete border of the color Bronze around the player.

The mini cards are much smaller than the base card. They fall at a rate of 1 per pack and have the same pictures as the regular base cards do.

    Serial Numbered:
The numbered cards in the set are mini cards, serial numbered on the back. We pulled 1 serial numbered card that is out of 99. These cards look like a regular mini, but are numbered on the back.

    Memorabilia:
We pulled a mini booklet dual jersey! This card is numbered on the back and is out of 99. Its longer than the average card, very unique card as mini booklets hadn't been made to this point. Its got a great design and looks great in person.

    Autographs:
We pulled a redemption for Jeff Francis. From looking at different Autograph cards though, it should be a mini card signed and have a border around the mini card making it the size of a normal card, they defintly have a good design that comes off looking well.

Final Thoughts on 2010 Topps T-206 Baseball:

Topps did a fine job with the set. The sketch like design comes off very well and the possibility for cards like original T-206 cards and mini booklet GUs make the product different yet exiciting for collectors. A good amount of short prints and mini's with variations make this a fun set for set collectors.

Here's how I would rate this product:
    • Value = 4
    • Innovation = 5
    • Fun and Experience = 4
    • Rebuy Value = 4

I rate this product an "B" for Topps!

I would like to thank Topps for giving me the chance to review this new product.

Oh man....this set looks like a combo of A&G and Mayo Football....the only two sets I still build. Looks like I might have to build this one too.

well written review, and the booklet is a neat new idea, which doesnt happen much anymore. redemptions are never exciting, but other than that, topps did very well on this product
