  • New hits from 14' press pass and others

Picked up the last 2 Gameday Gallery boxes while I was there and got these 2 out of them.

    Red Ink-Rajion Neal

    Blue Ink-Paul Richardson

These in a random 3 pack with 1 GU or auto per pack.

2006 upper deck Reggie Bush #070/125 (sweet for $10.00 pack)

2011 Score Sam Bradford Prime GU

This RG3 was in 1 of the 6 packs of a 2012 topps

This Michael Smith auto in another

All together was a $60 buy, was not to bad I dont think considering the Bush/RG3/Bradford just about covered the cost in just those 3

And from what I am reading the gameday gallery red ink cards are random sp inserts, could someone clarify that for me if they know anymore?

Yes, typically speaking (as in 2012 and 2013) Press Pass red ink autos are lower numbered inserts (most of them in 2013 were #'d to 25). I assume they've done the same thing this year.

      To tsands11,

Very nice breaks! The 2012 Topps 1957 Throwback Red Border "Target" Retail Exclusive is a really nice find. You just don't see them out there anymore, not even on eBay. Being that that card is his rookie card, it has much more going for it in collectibility. The Bush and Bradford relics are a nice example of what can be pulled here and there.

As tigerwpns is correct in his description, Press Pass Gameday cards with different color variations in regards to the autos will decide if you have a lower numbered (Rare) card or a higher numbered (Common) card. In truth, my words Common in the parenthesis is a misnomer as all cards in this set are never commons. But you get my point.

      Nice break, congratulations!

        Also tsands11,

I posted these photos of 2013 Press Pass so that the both of us as well as other forum members that are interested can see the difference in conceptual art of these cards spanning only twelve months apart. Here are some visual examples from 2013 Press Pass from my purchase last year.

        Deandre Hopkins Red Auto 44/99
        Andre Ellington Blue Auto 14/99
        Alec Oggletree Blue Auto 88/94
        Zac Dysert Blue Auto 81/99

After reviewing the check list, it also seems that lower numbered cards are not only based on what color the auto is but also on the player depicted.

I also wanted to note that I purchased these cards because I've never owned a set nor seen a set in hand that was a card that was painted by an artist. The artistic rendition of choice and colors are not that bad at all. In comparison from 2013 to 2014 graphics and design, the 2014 design draws your attention on the players face and it seems that 2014 Press Pass is a horizontally designed card. I definitely like your 2014 Press Pass. This years design looks great!

Yeah, I seen that with last years and the year before. But the Rajion Neal card is bronze and un-numbered but the only other auto's I see are Blue ink. Just like my last post I got a Mike Evans #74/75 silver parallel blue ink, but yet they say silver is #/150. It is in my last post, I was not expecting Evans out of it being a big time player this year.

The Red Inked Rajion Neal is 1/2 he only signed 2 cards of his bronze in red ink, so that is pretty awesome to find out.

Here is a copy/paste of the email sent to me from press pass

Evans does only have 75 Silver cards (Beckett's note is 150 or less for
each player on that level, but I'll get them the exact breakout this
week), and Rajion Neal signed 2 of his Bronze cards in red ink (that
info will go to Beckett at the same time).
