Twins, Triplets, or Quintuplets

To my fellow forum members,

Throughout 2013, I know, I know, you heard this garbage time after time again, the 2013 Draft Class has been weak. This creates a domino effect through the sports industry. I've reaserch this phenomena to only find out that Billions were lost, not Millions!

First and foremost, our hobby in football cards suffered greatly. Personally, I did not purchase any 2013 hobby products. In essence, I boycotted products created in 2013. Although I was extremely disappointed with the collecting year, like many collectors whom had done the same, I noticed how inexpensive 2013 hobby boxes were. They were listed at half the price of what 2012 products sold for.

The most hardest hit was Beckett's book values in these cards from '13. Most hits were listed below the Hundred Dollar mark. All this did was devalue collecting of '13 products. The good point is that in fact, hobby boxes became extremely affordable. Who would have thought that, as an example, a product like 2012 Panini Black that sold for $200.00 was now selling at $125.00 for a 2013 product. This enabled most collectors a little play room in their finances.

On a personal note, my intention was to time travel into the past. I went backwards in time. Several 2012 hobby boxes were acquired by yours truly. One of my many hits was a $125.00 RPA Trent Richardson Panini Elite and a $95.00 RPA Prime Ryan Tannehill Crown Royale. Looking back, I did quite well! Not only did my hits pay my dividends, the other cards in the sets was free eye candy, which definitely exceeded the $75.00 price point. All this being Beckett's book value, most of us hobbiest know, understand, and except the profit or loss of each and every single card pulled.

Prior to the 2014 collecting season, there was one great thing that was the fact that many forum members sent me special care packages of cards that was sent out just because. What a phenominal family all of you are. Always thinking of others needs and concerns.

This particular lot came from a forum member that many of you know as 90's Triplets. Hence my title for this thread. I must say the die cuts blew me away, and to add Crown Royale, one of my favorite products only excited me into a fury. There was also a complete Silver Set, several Dan Marinos, Jerry Rice, Brett Favre, and one of my favorite cards depicted below, a Michael Irvin acetate card that had an excellent and a well balanced design as well as graphics that literally popped out of the card.

My other card was a laser View. I've heard of them, seen them via eBay, yet never held one in hand until today. What a very nice surprise. I just want to thank my fellow brother 90's Triplets for this exquisite gift of cards. These definitely came from his heart. Below, please review this gift package.
