I am sure that you all are familiar with the various "hidden treasures", Tristar and "Worlds Greatest Pack Chase" boxes as they are sold on ebay, amazon and at other stores such as Wal-Mart.
I love the thrill of opening packs and also these type boxes even though the chances are very great that I will most likely get junk. I know that I have better odds of having a spaceship land in my yard than I would in pulling the 52 topps pack but that doesn't bother me.
The last box I bought off ebay I had a 1979 topps wax pack as my vintage pack and also a 1962 topps Willie Mays as my 1960s card as well as a graded 10 sammy sosa rookie and graded 10 barry bonds from 1989.
The other packs were not so bad either I think I had an 84 topps pack and maybe an 85 topps plus 89 fleer and 89 donruss which I am always happy to find. of course a few packs from 88 which I could probably tile my floor with (88 just seemed to be a really bad year for collecting).
