  • Panini Rewards Bites

I thought redemptions were bad. At least you don't have to pay shipping. Was going to get a Tannehill with my 250 reward points. Turns out it cost $4.18 to ship. What a rip-off.
I collect Andre Johnson, Redskins from the 70’s & 80’s, HOF’ers and Texas A&M Aggies
(Manziel, Mike Evans, Jake Matthews, Ryan Swope, Sean Porter, Luke Joeckel, Damontre Moore, Ryan Tannehill, Cyrus Gray, Jeff Fuller, Martellus Bennett, Stephen McGee, Goodson, Jerrod Johnson, V. Miller, Acie Law, DeAndre Jordan, Antoine Wright, Justin Ruggiano, etc.).

Wow! I didn't know they charged shipping too. It should be like a redemption. I'm getting fed up with all this crap. Someone should start a major class action lawsuit on them. They'd have collectors everywhere jumping on.

I am looking for: JJ Watt, Kawhi Leonard, George Springer, Carlos Correa, Jose Altuve, Panini Points...

They probably figure if you want it shipped free (redemption) then you wait until were good and ready to send it out. If you want something now of your choosing of our limited selection (rewards) then you have to pay the shipping. Just my jaded take.

I know how you feel. I got a box of 2014 certified and rerceived a lousy 250 for my Guaranteed rookie patch auto. These rewards are to replace the autos, but they don't have anything worth a %^$# for what these replace. They should at least have a comparable card from the set these came out of in exchange for the rewards. It's gonna be hard buying any of the panini product this year if these are going to be in the boxes

That is some bs there. If it is guaranteed then that should either be in the box or at worst a redemption. I would call them on that because you probably aren't going to find any rookie auto patches that are 250 (or probably under 600).

wouldn't help, they covered their butts with a card placed in the box stating " Please note that a Rewards Points Card replaces the 2014 Certified Football Freshman Fabrics Rookie Patch card for those players that were not available at time of shipping". It's just away for Panini to make more money, eliminate the redemptions and to get rid of cards that are getting dusty on their shelves. None of the cards they have on the site are worth what these rewards points replace. Panini marketing did a bad move with this program. I hope it hurts their bottom line.

That sucks. So Panini has gotten rid of redemptions completely?

Think I am going to stay away from 2014 Panini hobby boxes. Though might get more from 2013 (decent prices and have had good luck with them).

I also got a 150 out of my Hot Rookies box, no explaination card in that one though. I could redeem that one for an auto out of that set. They have some cheap ones that you most likley would have pulled anyways.

We are getting "rewarded" for being fools by buying Panini... On the bright side they do redeem expired redemptions. Oh yeah, in a year or so they might be the only company so a monopoly will be good for collecting football cards...

Sounds like we as collectors are screwed no matter which way we go with it. If I had to really choose, I'd choose the lesser of two evils, redemptions.

I am easy, I collect any and all NFL cards. Individual players I really enjoy are Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Matt Ryan, Andrew Luck, RGIII, and Russell Wilson. My passion is Favre rookie cards and vintage cards.
