  • Question about Jeter card

So I was going through my baseball collection (99% 90's cards - nothing special) and seeing which ones were worth keeping. Well I came across this. I think it may be what Beckett refers to as "1994 Collector's Choice White Letter Variation #644 Derek Jeter" (card on left) The card on the right is for comparison as you can plainly see silver lettering with silver signature. Can anyone verify that this is indeed the white letter variation? Been forever since I collected baseball but thought this one may be worthy of thick plastic mag holder. Beckett values the Silver at $6 and the white letter variation as N/A. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I could be wrong on this since my only knowledge of mid 90s Collectors Choice is with Basketball cards. In the 94-95 release, they had base cards as well as Silver Signature and Gold Signature Parallels.

The card on the left looks like the regular base card. The card on the right looks like the Silver Signature Parallel. I would take a guess the White Letter Variation maybe refers to the White Signature Parallel?

I may be way off, but hope that helps a little at least.

Thanks for your help. I just looked on eBay and people are listing the card I have as the White Letter variation (no sig). Looking through them I wish I had landed a Gold Sig variation!! lol
