  • Hobby vs. Retail - what's the difference?

What is the difference between a hobby pack and a retail pack? My guess is the retail would be the $5 packs you find at Wal-Mart or Target. Do the Hobby packs guarantee autos or hits of some sort?

In my area the hobby has the auto and game used in them and in retail if u are luckey u can find an auto or game used once in a while.
But I quit buying in 04 and all my collecting friends up here tell me it is still the same way as usual and they buy daily.

Better chances of getting an auto or game used in the hobby packs and hobby packs cost more.
Still collecting Frank Thomas in any uni and HoFer G/U & Auto's.

I do not trade nor buy at "eBay values", unless a card is so rare that it is unlisted.
