Okay so it's very cheesy but I want to post a bunch of my Hokie cards. I have been watching road_runner post his 264 collection pick-ups and think I want to give it a go here. The big question is where to start -

While my signature has a few names I think I will start with those often nefarious or at least dubious High School sets. Yes although they are only beginning their college career - there are a couple of notables that went from playing on Saturdays to Sundays. Here goes:

This is so very cool, what a great idea. It's always a neat concept when we are inspired by a fellow forum member in this case Mr. 264. I'm hokie hooked! This is a very nice presentation and I can't wait for your next additions, keep up the great job.

Since I have them better organized in my bucket I am going to go ahead and post Va Tech Hokie Senior Bowl cards. After this post I will have to think more about how to proceed.

This is the first Senior Bowl card I picked up. After the Bowl, a number of the Seniors from that year did a signing at a bookstore in Blacksburg (Home of the Hokies) Torian Brought his stack of cards from the Bowl and I was able to pick one up!

































There a couple of Senior Bowl players that I am hunting for - Hopefully I will acquire them sometime in the future!

Tangent sort of

Thought I would get this tangential card post out of my system - when I first started hunting Hokies another collector started sending me what he referred to as "second glance" cards - basically on second glance Hokies are on the card with the featured player. I called them "double take" cards - anyway I only have a few since they are too cumbersome to hunt for nowadays!

So it wouldn't be a college alumni PC if it didn't include a Hokie only set!

Va Tech issued a Multi-sport set in 1991? (ish).

It's undated but that's pretty close - -

From 2013 Upper Deck



2014 Upper Deck featured a card of the iconic Lunch Pail - symbolizing the blue collar work ethic of Bud Foster's Lunch Pail Defense - ALL HAIL THE PAIL!!

Unfortunately it was V-E-R-Y short printed and I have only seen one...
