  • Authenticating question

I have a baseball signed by Randy Johnson following a spring training game back in 2000 as well as a bat signed by Al Kaline. I have been contemplating having them authenticated and was wondering which company you guys would recommend? I'm not even sure it's worth doing (for me) since I know that they are authentic and I don't see myself parting with them. Anyhow...appreciate the advice!

I've got a few items that were signed "in person", and I haven't gotten them "authenticated". The reason being, I'm keeping them. However, if and when I decide to "part" with them, it'll be easier to trade and/or sell them with COA's. Since I've NEVER sent any for authentication I can't tell you who is the best at that. I have had cards, that I acquired, with authentication from PSA,CSA,JSA, & Beckett. Have a good day, Rodney

The main items Im looking to trade for are
    Baseball HOFers Autos I need
    Orioles Autos I need
    Baseball HOFers GU I need
    Orioles GU I need
    Vintage Orioles I need 1950s through 1970
However other offers will be considered

      Thanks for the reply Rodney.

I guess part of me is curious to see if they would come back as not authentic. I did some checking on the JSA site and it's not as expensive as I thought it would be. $35 for a Letter of Authenticity for each item. You have to factor in the shipping of course so it would probably be a $100 bill.
