Ive been an avid collector since childhood. I love the hobby and I'm now getting to share it with my kids as I got to share it with my father. I know so much has changed since my childhood and the hobby isn't close to what it used to be but I still enjoy it. I also still beleive that it can be a good investment. Regardless if I make thousands off of cards or not, thats not what im in it for. But I do beleive that a good percentage of the time I'll atleast get what I put in it! Which to me is the same as a savings account. With all that being said I've become intrigued with the Tiffany sets of topps and even the glossy by fleer. Ive made some purchases on ebay but thr griffeys of either are prettt high compared to the others. Does anyone not think that these tiffany sets will appreciate over time? I mean even the steroid users?
I buy the card not the grade!. My want list gets updated way to frequently to be consistent.

I am always in the market for Cards,Any Alabama player current or former(football only), current or former St Louis Cardinals especially Albert Pujols,Matt Carpenter,Stephen Piscotty and Mark Mcgwire,Grant Hill and other duke blue devil. Also set building 2013 bowman chrome mini in numbered refractors.

I dont collect baseball anymore, but I remember them when I was younger. Problem is with most cards from the 1980s and early 1990s, all those cards were mass produced and really not worth anything. The Tiffany sets are worth more than the base set, but also isnt as limited as cards today.
