2015 Topps Chrome Baseball Variations Guide, Checklist
Given their rarity and distinct difference from the base images, 2015 Topps Chrome Baseball variations opt for quality over quantity. View all the known versions side-by-side with base cards in our detailed guide.
Normally, collectors must wait until the hobby release to find out the unknown short print options, but due to the early availability of 2015 Topps Chrome Baseball retail, the limited cards started surfacing nearly two weeks ahead of hobby.
So far, in limited numbers, the theme appears to be celebratory images or simply more casual shots of players outside of active play.
Because the image variations were not listed on the 2015 Topps Chrome Baseball checklist, the full total is not available. However, if they are anything like 2014, the number of options should be around 25.
While the hobby odds are not yet known, the variations average 1:766 retail packs, which is not quite as difficult as last season. The image variation short prints also carry code #CMP013686 on the back of the card at the bottom.
