Chris Douglas-Roberts has agreed upon a two-year deal with the New Orleans Pelicans.

Douglas-Roberts has started workouts with the Pelicans and will sign for the NBA's veteran minimum.

Douglas-Roberts gives New Orleans some experience at the wing and will compete for a roster spot along with Bryce Dejean-Jones and Sean Kilpatrick.

Douglas-Roberts' training to return to the NBA featured a summer scrimmage game in which he scored 50 points.

The New Orleans Pelicans have waived Chris Douglas-Roberts.

Douglas-Roberts, 6-7, 210, was signed by New Orleans on Sept. 23 and appeared in five preseason games (one start), averaging 7.0 points, 1.0 assists and 1.4 steals per game.
