2016 Topps Baseball Series 1 Variation Short Prints Guide
Appearing to take a step back from the glut of variations in previous flagship releases, the 2016 Topps Series 1 Baseball Variations largely consists of basic photo differences that center around uniforms.
Celebrating the 65th anniversary of Topps Baseball, the final 2016 Topps Series 1 checklist did not provide the list of variations, which has been the case in recent years. This means that collectors will need to keep their eyes peeled. Early variations look to be easier to spot as they feature camo. However, some examples or more subtle than others.
While we can't be sure until the full release, it looks like there will be no Sparkles this year. Sabermetric Stat Backs also seem to be left off the docket in Series 1.
If you would prefer to not have to eyeball cards for image differences, the code on the card backs can also provide the answer. Simply review the final four digits to determine which cards you have.

SSP Photo Variations end in 7125 - 1:250 Jumbo packs
