  • Buying Old Boxes and Pesky Redemption Cards!?

I am curious if anyone knows how you might know if a certain set used redemption cards for their autographs or other high end inserts. I am curious because that would be something good to know if you were going to buy an old box hoping for a cool auto and all you get is an EXPIRED redemption!
I just wasn't sure if there was a good place to look this kind of info up.

    Thanks!

I think the beckett checklist marks if a card was a redemption or not.

Panini is pretty good about letting you turn in expired redemptions even if its from Donruss, Playoff, etc before they took over.

UD recently changed to allow for expired redemptions for up to a yr after expiration I think and you're SOL at Topps. Once it's expired, you're screwed.
