Simple question: Are Thunder Road / Star Tracks really race-used?

Embedded with rubber from tires.

Burning Rubber and Hot Treads ARE race-used, but really, are TRs and STs race-used?

I've seen so many "Race-Used" listings on eBay and other sites only to find out that the person has TRs ans STs for trade.

Thoughts?

I guess technically they are, but I don't view them as actual RU. I don't keep any of my JJ's with my race used stuff. They're in with the other inserts.

I have a non-CCW member who sent me an email with a list of "race-used" that he wants to trade to me for a few REAL race-used and autographs.

His list is actually TRs and STs, with a few...wait... a COUPLE "real" race-used.

Ain't gonna happen...nope..nadda...noway.....

nope they are not race used. In fact didnt they use a new tire in the process for those cards
