I recieved my first in today, so i'll start up a thread, hopefully more are on the way

Unfortunatly, it doesnt seem like he let it dry

It is the fact that it is a Bowman card that probably ruined it. Let me show you...
 
Do you see a difference? As I put it, "sharpies and Bowman cards don't like to go to the same parties." In other words, unless you really prepare that card, it doesn't turn out too well. The 2010 Topps U&H, which has also given me trouble, turned out a little bit worse for me, but I treated the Bowman better than the Topps.

rub the card down with baby powder dan, otherwise it will do that all the time. baby powder the heck out of it, it takes off the gloss and makes cards signable

I did the babypowder last time, but it appears I didnt put on enough..glad I didnt send out any other Bowman cards recently

Yea I see it, it was the only kind of Avila card I had to get signed though, i drowned the new card in baby powder this time though, hopefully it comes back alright, I don't mind if the signature isnt amazingly clear, but just dont want it to end up like the one I got today.

Forgot to show this one off, although it was IP. Got it at the Tigers game I went to early in the month. It was raining though so it smudged, but still happy to get one signature since it was so cold!
