2012 topps Tier One Master Case

Hey guys! I'm new to the site as this is my first post. Have really just got back into this baseball card thing as I'm 32, but I am loving all the gu and auto that are out there these days. Last week was the first time I have bought cards in years, really since the early 90's. Well after being on the internet for a few days and seeing all the hype on the Tier One release, I bought a master case. It should be here tomorrow. I will only get back into this to make some extra money or at least break even. If you are in my shoes do you open the master case or sell it? your thoughts???

Welcome. Good luck with the break. I would open the boxes and see what you get. Sell off or trade some of the better cards.

It depends on what you paid for the case but if you got in at the right price SELL IT.

I opened a 6 box case and the hits are selling for NOTHING.

If I didnt pull a redemption for a Sandy Koufax auto /10 I would have lost $450 on the case.

Thanks for the help. I may have paid a little much for this. I'm in for the 12 box case for about 95.00/bx. the kid in me wants to tear into them like a mad man. I would have just bought a 6 box case but read where every master case is guaranteed a top hit. I figured I would be better served this way.

I would rip them open but that's me. The thought of selling off boxes and finding out that they got some major hit would make me feel a little bitter. I would keep the hall of famers and sell off all the younger stuff if you get it , like the Darvish autos.

Actually master cases you are guaranteed a crowd pleaser autograph which doesnt have to be a big hit.

From what I have seen dealers are paying 108-110 so you can make some good money.
