OK, then I'll wait until you have member status and have proven yourself. Deals that you've made with other members don't pertain to any deal we could make. Other members that send to a rookie first, have no recourse if theyre ripped off. Not implying that you would, but there are a lot of banned members who have.

Thats why I don't do many deals with traders on ROOKIE STATUS. I didn't earn my 100+ Positive Points, so I can Buy/Trade with a newcomer where the odds are against all of them being honest.

Maybe the mods can get a concencus on procedures when a "ROOKIE" is tring to sell here. I like the way it is but maybe they can come up with a different procedure. my 2 cents because I was interested in the UD GU posted here bob

I do believe that redneckism and I did a moderate $$ trade when he was on rookie status and he's worked out superb. bob

Here are the revised rules, Bob. Paragraph N. applies here.

CCW Rules/Rookie Status - All Members Please Read!
The following rules are in effect, and should be followed, by all members of Card Collectors World (CCW). Violation of these rules, knowingly or unknowingly, can be grounds for suspension and/or removal from the website.

                    1. Rules regarding member conduct:

                    A. CCW is a family friendly site. To that end, no profane, racist, or inflammatory language will be tolerated. This rule is in effect for both public postings, and any private messaging that goes on between members. Anyone attacked in this manner should report violator. If you attack back you will also be subjugated to suspension/ban as well.

                    B. Posting any links to unapproved sites (spamming) will not be tolerated. Members can post links to their personal trading websites. Any other site linked on CCW must be an affiliate site. Please do not link another trade site as your tradelist. Create a thread here.

We want to create a positive community here and wish to see our members abide by other sites' rules just as we want people to follow ours. That said, please do not spam this site or promote by any "illegal" means on other sites. This creates a negative connotation and puts a bad name out there off the bat as we are trying to grow the membership. Promote as you trade or sell on ebay; or contact anyone you can contact off-site. Anyone caught spamming on another site may be subject to disciplinary action here. By the way, we will have Facebook account for you to follow and promote that way! Furthermore, you may only have one account registered per household, unless you clear it with CCW staff. Having multiple accounts without staff permission is grounds for immediate banning and removal from the site.

                    C. A member may not post anything deragatory about any person on the open forums. This is "Flaming" and will not be permitted.
Please contact the staff and allow them to handle it as the proof will allow.

                    D. A member will under no circumstances disrespect any of the staff at CCW or other members either in a thread or PM. Punishment will be suspension or banning depending on the severity of the post.

                    2. Rules regarding trader conduct:

                    A. Members who enter into trade or sale agreements on CCW do so with the full knowledge that the site, its owner, and its staff, are not responsible for any loss, damages, or difficulties in the trade arising from shipping practices, or from dishonest traders. The site will not be held liable for any monetary loss as a result of trading or selling through the site.

                    B. Staff will attempt to assist members who have difficulties with a trade or trader, but in order to do this, the trade must be posted, and confirmed in the Trade Agreements section of the forum, by both parties.

                    C. Traders should be honest when discussing the condition, value, and availability of cards they wish to trade or sell. Knowingly deceiving another trader is grounds for removal from the site.

                    D. Traders are expected to send out their end of the trade in a timely fashion. Usually, all trades should be mailed within 2 days of the trade being agreed upon. If more time is needed, this should be made clear by both parties.

                    E. Proper packaging and shipping practices should be followed. Unless both sides of a deal allow the use of regular envelopes, bubble mailers, with top loaders and proper protection, should be used by both sides, on all trades. Delivery confirmation and insurance are not required by the site, but they are a good idea on higher value trades, and will help in the event that there is a problem with the deal.

                    F. Once feedback is established for CCW, traders who do not have at least 10 positive feedback, either from CCW, or transferred from approved sites, are required to send first on all trades or sales. This is not negotiable, and failure to follow this rule may lead to removal from the site.

                    G. Traders who are both under 10 feedback are expected to send at the same time.

                    H. If a trader has been tagged as "Must Send First on All Transactions" then the member must send first to ALL other members, even CCW rookies. As long as that tag is on a given member, they must abide by this rule.

                    I. The “bumping” or pushing to the top, of ones thread should not be done until at least twelve hours have passed from the last post on the thread. This allows all members to have their threads near the top of the forum for as long as possible. This is only a courtesy to others. We will not penalize members unless they knowingly violate this rule multiple times.

                    J. Please do not create several posts in the same forum within a short amount of time! They will be merged or deleted. This is also a courtesy so everyone can have their threads seen.

                    K. Please do not attempt to trade or sell any card you do not have in hand! Do not attempt to trade or sell any card from a trade that you want canceled until the staff tells you that the trade has successfully been canceled.

                    L. Send a PM with your mailing address to the member that you worked out the agreement with. If the member prefers to email you their mailing information instead that is fine. Please do not post your mailing address on the open forums.

                    M. If there is ever a Trade Dispute over a Paypal Gift transaction the mods here on CCW nor anybody at Paypal can do anything in recovering the losses. ***

                    N. Concerning sales on the site:

Cards and or other items will be sent once payment has been received and incase of personal checks not until they have cleared."

If there is a " MSF " tag on a member ,they need to send first on all transactions

The only exception is if you have dealt with the buyer before and trust them, so then it is the seller's choice.

                    3. Rules regarding copyright laws, and on-site sales:

                    A. No member of CCW may purchase, trade, sell, or offer to purchase, trade or sell any item that has been illegally obtained or produced. This includes, but is not limited to, music, visual media, video games of any sort, or any copyrighted team or sport logos. This included the trading, selling, or “50/50ing” of customized cards that portray copyrighted images.

                    B. No member may sell unopened sports card packs or boxes. This includes group breaks, case breaks, and any type of sale of sealed product. Only staff will conduct case, pack, or box breaks. NO GRAB BAGS, or any type of sale where the buyer does not know exactly what he is getting, are allowed.

                    C. Absolutely no weapons or pornographic material will be traded or sold here This includes paintball guns, knives, and anything that is considered a weapon. If you have a question as to whether something is acceptable, PM one of the senior staff before posting.

All rules may be amended, added to, or removed without prior notice. Users who wish to make use of Card Collectors World (CCW) agree to abide by all of these rules, and to follow both the literal letter, and the intent, behind them.

                    Rookie Status

Many of you may have noticed that there are many members listed as CCW Members, and many listed as CCW Rookies. Please note that all CCW Rookies are required to send first in any trades with CCW members. There are three reasons a member is designated a CCW Rookie. These are

                    1. Incomplete Profile Information
                    2. Less than 10 successful unique trades/feedbacks here on CCW
                    3. No transfered feedback from accepted sites

If you are marked a CCW rookie, and believe you should not be, or have fixed or updated what needed to be updated to make you a full CCW member, please make a post on the Feedback Transfer Thread listed below.
