After seeing how bad it was for everyone, I told myself I was only going to do one of each. Well, we all know how that goes. On a plus side, I'm glad I was a little persistent.

Too much. Regulars are up to 140 and Jumbos 240. Luckily, I got my first couple locked in much sooner and less. The last one that I got the Bellinger was from Jumbo Packs at $23 per pack (OUCH!)

Wow!!! 140 a box? Here I was thinking 175 for a Jumbo at my LCS was a bit steep so I did just 2 boxes. 77 a box wasn't too bad...Nice haul Leeland!!

The product has been out maybe three days and almost doubled in price? That isn't supply and demand, that is greed from wholesalers and of course some shop owners. I can't believe the price being charged for hobby. I just hope the greedy jerks don't soak up all the retail and jack that price up too. Some nice hits though - but for the amount you had to spend I would have hoped for more!

Its not worth it. I don't know why I even did it in the first place. I am strongly considering just selling off my entire collection and leaving the hobby for that very reason. Last year in football and this year in baseball have been absolutely ridiculous. The other thing that is ruining the hobby is case breakers. The distributors and manufacturers know they will get their $ because there are so many case breakers. Without them, they would have to listen to their customers and hobby shops more.

durazoaz: If I were you, I'd buy them up at that price. They are selling for much more already and you could make a good profit flipping them lol.

Sadly, case breaking is the way the hobby has gone, I buy into the cheap fun breaks, but the big case breakers seem to be growing and I agree they don't listen to the little guys.

I hit a fullmer and a rockies rc auto from a player I never heard of. Every instinct in me was telling me to sell the other box I purchased but yet I see these grand hits some people get and think why not me. So I opened it and got a yuli orange auto and a moncada sp. Was decent but way better than the first...
