Watching my old weatherman who is now the morning anchor on the weather Channel and they where saying Okla/Mo/Montana and the Dakota;s are going to see a polor vortex next Wed and lasting for 11 days and the temps are going to fall an average of 25 degrees.
So maybe u will be eating ice cream floats with me as well.
We have a nice fresh coat of wet sloppey snow to go with our Noreaster we had last Sunday and the storm we just had.
26 inches of snow is very early for us but we have another 4 months to go of this nonsence.

Rodney The Dickey is on hold and won't have an answer until Tuesday night.

Terry, I understand the weather up that way as I was at Fort Devens Mass. in 1969. Thirty two inches on the ground when I got there. Enjoy the ice cream!!

Know the feeling well go to Ft Lewis Washinton in 1968 and it was 60 degrees and Sandy Koufax meet incoming troops and gave us all a signed card as he went to a nearby sports store and got as many vintage cards of himself and gave all returning troops an autographed card.
We caught an Air Force hop to Keesler and then went to Roger Maris ;s Brewery and enjoyed getting tanked and another autograph session with another Baseball Great.
Hit an hop with to Providence RI and when we arrived we got bombed with 21 inches of fresh new power,
Spent the next day at the Narragansett Brewery and then headed to Caribou on a Northeast flight to run into a real snowstorm.
Went to bed and woke up to nearly 4 feet of snow and my best friend ending up in my back yard broke down with his plow.
Got my old 64 Scout going and go to passes before the gas line broke and laid on the ground for 2 hrs building a new gas line.
Took nearly 4 hrs to get the yard plowed and hit the rack for the night.
Got up to another 21 1/2 inches of new snow again and nearly six feet for the 2 days.
The Wife and I where looking at the pictures from our scrapbook and remember that 30 day leave and then back to Fort Dix.
That year we got just over 220 inches of snow.
3 Years ago we almost duplicated it with 218 inches.
Guess I am use to this stuff by now.
