Football card draft (updated rules)

Here are the rules:

1. The cards must have a minimum book value of $8.

2. Cards must be in nm/mt condition.

3. Send in 10 cards for the draft consisting of autos, game used, rookies and inserts. A combination of at least 6 autos & game used is required. No minor league cards(press pass/sage). Send me list of the 10 cards that you intend to send, so I can compile a list and check the book values. The 10 cards must meet a minimum of $120 total book value.

4. We are looking for 10 participants and 10 rounds. (We can have more if enough people are interested).

5. Participants will be randomized and we will have a snake draft.

6. Draft choices will be made within 12 hours of the last pick. If 12 hours have passed, that person can still make their pick until the next person in line makes their pick. If the next person in line makes their pick, then the member who missed their turn can choose 2 cards in the next round.

7. Participants are required to send the cards to me first and I will send out the cards out after the draft is over.

8. U.S. members should include $3 for return postage. International members should include $4 for return postage. I don't use pay pal, so either send cash/check/money order or include a bubble mailer with postage.

Here's an option I think most people can meet. Again, I'm just throwing this out there. It's your game and your rules. I don't want to step on toes and in the end I'll go by any rules, but here's my thought:

Half of the cards were or are star players (Ideas for a star - multiple pro bowls, awards, etc.)
Every card has a person that was a starter at some point. ( or at least 8 of the 10 something like that)
At least three or four autos
At least three to five from last 3 years




There are some nice National treasures that book for $8 or $9 dollars while there are people nobody cares about that book for $30 or $40.
