Tris Speaker is my Great Uncle.. no foolin! I have a few of his cards - 60's and newer - Always wanted a pre-war card of his, PLEASE CMB (PC too) if you want to trade!!

I wouldn't hold it against you if you kept it.. Please keep me in mind if you think about trading it, I'd give up just about anything to have that sitting on my desk. On a side note - when I was about 10 I would go to the nursing home with my Grandparents when they would feed and tend to their mothers (they went to feed them breakfast lunch and dinner every day) my Great Grandma (Spoke's sister) would sometimes get confused (she was 102 at the time) and call me Trisman. I didn't realize it at the time who she was talking about or the significance he played in MLB. At the Ballpark in Arlington (Texas Rangers) the entrance to each suite has a mural of an old-time ball player about 10' high by 5' wide. Sure enough 'The Gray Eagle' is there! Pretty sure he was next to Ty Cobb, MLB all time most doubles. Pure hitter. It must have been fun to watch him play!

Sweet Stuff! Nice Haul! I think I'm going to start focusing on getting singles from shows and cracking less wax. I've been on a long cold snap for quite some time.
