  • Huge Retail Hits: EEE, Bowman Chrome

Went to Target in search of a little relief after a rather underwhelming break earlier this week. I bought the 2 blasters of 13 EEE they had, along with 4 rack packs of Bowman Chrome and some odds and ends from the 1.50 pile. Here's what happened:

Misc/Bowman Chrome notables: 2012 Harper Paper, Zunino Green

oh, and this, #92/150 (pretty well centered, too!)

So at this point, I'm pretty stoked, pulling a color auto from retail is great (not as good as the Blue Alfaro auto I pulled a month ago, but still pretty good) and from here, I don't expect things to get a whole lot better. I know EEE Blasters have been pretty generous from what I've seen, but again, not expecting anything.

Die Cuts: Crawford 18/25! Overton 18/25, Torrens 64/100

    Base Autos

Drew Ward Status Blue Die Cut 31/50

And, while he's not a huge name, this Trae Arbet Gold Status Die Cut Auto #5/5
    made my day:

EEE blasters have been loaded this year for sure, and I'm glad I found a couple. I think for the $112 I dropped at Target today, I'm doing ok.

Thanks Jerry! I'm stoked, Arbet's first and only signature is in 13 Elite, and given that Pittsburgh is lacking in prospects at SS(outside of Allen Hanson who is rumored to end up playing 2b), this could pan out to be a pretty big hit if he pans out.
