Sorting A Large Amount

hey guys, what's the best way to sort a large collection these days. I used to just categorize by year and brand. I now have well over 100,000 cards, I would like to do some reorganization of my collection and also put some up for sale or trade. I'd like to hear some different strategies and ideas.
