2015 Topps Update Series Variations Guide, Checklist
The final major baseball release of the year, 2015 Topps Update Series Baseball offers collectors a chance at many of the late-season rookie cards and the last big set-building option. Like most of the products in recent years, 2015 Update continues with more variations, including some new options.
While the final checklist is already out, Topps normally keeps the variation short prints close to the vest and that is the case for 2015 Update. However, thanks to the release of the retail version, collectors are getting an early look at the product and several variations have surfaced.
Collectors can also expect the return of Sparkles (listed on packs as Hidden Gems) and Stat Backs. Outside of that, information is still limited, but the retail odds are as follows:
Exclusive Throwback Variation - 1:2 rack
Base Variation - 1:7 hanger / 1:13 rack
Base Variation Autograph - 1:15,392 hanger / 1:28,602 rack
Stats Variation - 1:10 hanger / 1:19 rack
Hidden Gems Base Variation (Sparkles) - 1:32 hanger / 1:63 rack
We also have the specific codes from the back to help collectors during their search and this can be the easiest way to identify variations. Simply check the last four digits of the code that is in bold on the bottom of the card.
