A hobby shop recently opened up about 15 minutes from my house, so today I took my first trip there. While the owner didn't have much in stock yet, he seemed like a nice guy and I would love for him to stay in business, so I bought three packs of 2010-11 Panini Threads Basketball. Here's what I got:
Threads' base cards are pretty much like your average base card. They are fairly thin, with a little bit of a glossy feel. Here are the base cards I got: 55, 137, 95, 119, 62, 46, 104, 57, 80, 121, 78, and 112. If anyone is interested in getting their hands on these just let me know.
I did pull a Silver Century Proof parallel, numbered 26/199. Don't know how well that will show up, but it's pretty nice.

Here are the inserts I pulled. Nothing special.
Aha! A hit! Wait a second, who is Hassan Whiteside??! The name sounds familiar, but I don't even know where the dude came from. I looked him up on ESPN, and apparently he has not recorded a single stat this year. O well, it's still a cool card, and maybe one day Hassan Whiteside will be a household name.More...
