Even as collector*anticipation continues to swell*for the late-May release of 2010-11 Panini Gold Standard Basketball,*we wouldn’t be doing our jobs correctly if we didn’t do everything in our might*to heighten those golden hopes.

Perhaps these new pre-production images — courtesy of the Panini America Routing Table — will do just that.



Last week we shared with you*some early glimpses*of some of Gold Standard’s*decadently ornate insert sets. And prior to that, we*provided a*behind-the-scenes look at how the product’s unique packaging came about.
