According to eBay listings & other searches on the net... it looks like this set was sold exclusively through Avon in 1997 (although the metal cards say 1996). Completed listing have sold in the $8 to $13 range (shipping included).
They're definitely a cool set... I remember these metal cards were popular in the 90's.Collecting autographs, game-used cards, & certain inserts/parallels of the following players/teams: Tony Gwynn/Padres, Kurt Suzuki/A's, Greg Maddux, Brett Favre/Packers, Steve Largent/Seahawks, Kobe Bryant/Lakers, & Devin Setoguchi/Sharks.
