Just when you thought that it was safe to go back into the water Upper Deck announces that there is one last surprise for the 2010 Football Card season.
While Ultimate remains cancelled, that hasn’t stopped Upper Deck from releasing the biggest and the best NCAA football card set of all-time: Exquisite.
It seems that Upper Deck wasn’t content to allow National Treasures and Five Star to be the only elite-highend products on the market.
Information is limited as of right now. We have several images, a release date (March 29), and the fact that they will introduce triple book cards in this product. More info will be released soon.
Now comes the fun. With SP Authentic, SPx, and Sweet Spot all being released to mixed results due to the lack of an NFL license, it’s now only a matter of time before we find out if a product of this magnitude (and price) can survive without that prestigious NFL license.
Stay tuned for further details as they become available.
