2012 Press Pass Football Cards Box Break Recap And Review

Andrew Luck autograph cards can only be found in one productright now, 2012 Press Pass Football. With only a 50-card base set and no inserts, just parallels, theconcentration here for collectors will be on the hits, the on-card autographs.


We would normally classify 2012 Press Pass Football astrading cards becuase of the volume of cards found in a hobby, but the smallbase set forces us to look at these cards as premium cards. Each hobby box contains 30 pack with 5cards per pack and includes a total of 6 autographs.

Base Set Parallels

Andrew Luck Gold Parallel. On the base set, "Luck" is silver foil, the parallel has his last name in gold.

Overall Look

I think you can see by the images, this is a decent designbut very repetitive. Using thesame size bust photos for every player makes you feel like you are getting thesame card over and over again. Butthe Autograph cards, both the one’s we pulled and the SP variations are welldesigned.

Quality and Variety of Checklist

Press Pass has gone with a short list here, but what itlacks in quantity it makes up for in quality. The Andrew Luck exclusive doesn’t hurt either.

Do the Hits satisfy?

We pulled a good percentage of autographs from playersexpected to go in the earlier rounds of the draft. As always, going the on-card autograph route makes PressPass stand out.

Will you keep coming back for more?

This really depends on the hits. You can either keep taking your chances with additionalboxes or search out aftermarket singles.
