2013 Panini Prestige

Some days I wonder to myself; "Has Mrs. Toshi lost her mind"? After a purchase of '13 Score box, a Matt Ryan auto, and now a '13 Prestige, I fear we will be eating peanut butter sandwiches for the month of July! I can't truly complain as I am enjoying myself. It is a shock to me for her to shower me with this many card purchases. So here goes! The cards depicted here are the highlights.

SOP! Standard Operating Procedure. That’s how I can describe Mrs. Toshi and I during our visits at our local hobby shop. What’s new? And when is the release date? I do clearly recall last years Prestige debut. A very forgettable set of cards. This years Prestige debut deserves a standing ovation. The new design on base cards draw attention to each player with their name, position, and team artfully displayed. The inserts take on a new design that is borrowed from the Absolute and Totally Certified products. This makes Prestige a very nice item that pays tribute to the aforementioned cards. As for my hits? Quinton Patton “Extra Points” auto 13/25, Knile Davis “Tickets” auto, Manti Te’o “Prestigiuos Picks” relic 140/399, and Dion Jordan “Prestigious Picks” 056/899. My all time favorite inserts were the two die cut acetate cards of Antonio Gates and Victor Cruz. This year Panini has truly out done themselves!
