So I'm trying to sell my 2012 Topps Captain Patch set.. Here's the link to the auction:

2012 Topps Captain Patch Set Complete 35 Cards Rodgers Manning Brees 1st Ever | eBay

It's been live for 26 days now, it has 82 views and 3 watchers. I have not had an offer on the set yet. Not even a question about the set. If it ends without an offer or being purchased for the asking price listed what do y'all think I should do? There are a couple options I've thought of. Lower asking price and take off "Or Best Offer" - Relist with same buy it now price with OBOs accepted - Take it off and try again during Football Season - Hold on to the set for a long time? Any help would be appreciated. I don't want to sell this for less than $250.

    Thanks in advance guys!

Wait till the season starts. Find out which NFL team seems to be the most popular or makes the most noise with fans. Retake your pictures with an emphasis on the NFL team that is garnering the most fans. An example would be the 49ers. If they seem to be the most popular, start your photos with the 49ers. Then the next team and so on. When you list the captains patch, utilize this concept. Verbiage can be; "Rare, once in a lifetime opportunity to own a custom authentic Topps Captains patch of (Player name) followed by the (Team name)"! Add a little description of the Captains Patch and ended with; "Included in this once in a lifetime offer is a complete 32 NFL Team set of Captains Patches, celebrate your teams victory in the Superbowl with this very rare set"!
I am easy, I collect any and all NFL cards. Individual players I really enjoy are Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Matt Ryan, Andrew Luck, RGIII, and Russell Wilson. My passion is Favre rookie cards and vintage cards.

Worst case scenario? Keep it, and store it away for your grandchildren. Or if you owe taxes at the end of the year? Donate the card set to a children's hospital, make sure you get a receipt, and utilize the donation to defer your taxes. If you decide to donate the cards, make sure you use the highest BV and add 20% on top of that as it's a unique complete set and it was difficult to put together. Remember the time it took to put it together. Many people don't take that into account! TIME IS MONEY!!!

I've heard of a charity called Cards2kids. Upper Deck utilizes this charity. They take your donated cards, repackage them and distributes these repackaged cards at children's hospital throughout the US.

Or you could send it to auction and set your reserve at 250. True, you'll pay a 2.00 fee for setting the reserve if it sells, but it's a good way to go.

In my limited eBay experience, people just don't bid until the last minute. In all of the auctions I have ever had, I have only had one or two bids until the last half hour or so, and then 15 bids come in in 20 minutes.

If it doesn't sell now, I think you should wait till the start of the season, and play up whatever the "hot team" is in the league. You could also lower the asking price, as long as you don't go below your minimum.

            Good luck with the sale!
