About a year ago I received a redemption card from 2012 SPX football for a Chris Spielman autograph.
A few months ago I sent an email to Upper Deck wondering when or if I'd ever receive this card and received no response. About two weeks ago I sent another email and got in contact with an Upper Deck representative who offered a replacement card possibility.
I gave him a list of favorite teams and players and thought I'd have to wait another year before they did anything about this.
Thankfully that was not the case as today I received not one, but two replacement cards of Giants wide receiver Reuben Randle. (pictured below)
I just wanted to post this story because I know there are many negative redemption card stories that arise throughout the hobby so I figured it's only fair to commend Upper Deck for coming through and sending me two cards that quite frankly, I'm happier to have than I would've been had I received the Chris Spielman I was originally due to get.
Thank you Upper Deck. You have restored my faith in the redemption system…somewhat.
