2015 Cards are Here!

To my fellow forum members,

Mrs. Toshi and I just got back from Target, while Mrs. Toshi did the shopping, I sat at the card aisle looking for a new release. Here it is; 2015 Leaf Draft. I know that the card stock is not up to collectors standards. While other collectors might deem it a waste of money. I've heard that since this is not a NFL product, you can't say that these are rookies cards.

What do I get out of it? Just an introduction to new rookie players whom are looking to be on a roster in the NFL. I also like that every blaster comes with 4 autos. Not just any old autos thrown together in a mish mash way. Each auto card comes in a top loader and all 4 top loaders are sealed in a team bag. I think that leaf really cares about customers needs. Too bad other companies don't do that.

This years blaster is sold at $29.99. What! Yes. I don't know why it went that high, they're normally $19.99. I would conclude that since Press Pass, is now defunct, Leaf has free range to do as they please. The only other non-NFL cards are from Upper Deck. I would like to see how Panini handles these issues. I've also read somewhere that Panini is looking to be a exclusive NCAA card producer. Can you believe that everything else will be a Panini brand product? Until that time arrives please take a look at 2015 Leaf Draft.

By the way, one box yielded two complete sets!

What were you're other 2 autos Toshi?

Gonna do my best to stay away from Leaf and Sage this year since there aren't any Aggies (that I know of).

Went to the Leaf site. There are 2 versions of retail boxes this year. $19.99 (20 packs, 2 autos) and $29.99 (30 packs, 4 autos).

There are only 4 autos in the $29.99 blaster box.

Are you sure you got 2 sets? As I knew I would end up doing, I bought the same blaster today. You get 150 cards: 120 base and 30 gold/yellow. I have 1-88. Don't know if it goes past that. So there aren't even enough cards for 2 sets.

My 4 autos were all unknown players to me and 3 of them weren't even in the base set. Kind of what I expected.
