  • Upper Deck Releases 2010-11 O-Pee-Chee Hockey

    Upper Deck has released its biggest trading card set of the year:* 2010-11 O-Pee-Chee Hockey.

    The 600-card offering features a number of NHL rookies including No. 1 overall draft pick Taylor Hall and his Edmonton teammate, Jordan Eberle.* The set also offers retro variations, autographs and four-player jersey cards at a lower price point.

    Among the insert sets: * Marquee Legends and Marquee Rookies including the young stars who have made their NHL debuts during this current season, which combine to appear in every other pack.

    There are also insert cards entitled “Stat Kings,” “Trophy Winners,” “Team Leaders” featuring greats of the past and present. Falling at a rate of 1:4 packs, these cards only add to the wide assortment of* old school cards.

    Collectors will discover autograph cards of current stars (Alex Ovechkin and Matt Duchene) and legends (Bobby Orr, Bobby Hull and Steve Yzerman), as well as “O-Pee-Chee Souvenirs” cards featuring jersey swatches of four players on one card like Sidney Crosby, Steven Stamkos, Patrick Kane and John Tavares.

    Upper Deck’s 2010-11 O-Pee-Chee Hockey set holds six cards per pack and 36 packs per box.

    Online prices for boxes have been running $55-60.
