Every four years...
Tomorrow's election day and if everything goes smoothly, we'll soon find out who will be leading our country for the next four years.
To be honest, I'm not very political. But if it relates to cardboard, then I'm all over it. So today, I'm going to show off my 2008 Topps Campaign set that features twelve of the 2008 presidential candidates.
Let's kick things off with the two key candidates in this year's election:
And of course the 2008 Republican presidential nominee...
A pair of President Obama's current cabinet members:
Two members of the U.S. House of Representatives:
The former governor of New Mexico...
The former governor of Arkansas...
Two former United States Senators:
And last, but not least... a Saturday Night Live host and one of the most famous cross dressing mayors in New York City's history...
So what do you think?
Pretty cool set right? It doesn't hurt that I'm a huge fan of the 2008 Topps card design. And the best part is the price. You can pick up sets off of eBay for around $7 to $15. You can also build these sets for under $5 on COMC.
Happy Monday and sayonara!
