Is NASCAR Dead at Wal-Mart and Meijers?

I had heard a rumor back December that Press Pass would not be doing retail boxes for Wal-Mart, Meijers or Target.

Not sure what is happening, but went to both places this weekend and this is what I found:

Wal-Mart - ZIP!, Nada!, Nothing! No blasters of any Press Pass product (to include football).

Meijers - Some Retail Boxes (NOT blasters) from 2007 Wheels and a few of those "Junk" Boxes (you know, a mix of about a dozen different packs) and no football.

Target - Has a few 2011 Press Pass NASCAR (first issue of the year, from December) and no football.

Did I miss an announcement or something?

My Target always has new NASCAR blasters.

Plenty at my Wally worlds.

I was starting to think that about hockey. nothing at wally world. target gets in retail packs but no blasters.
